Сайлов кодекснинг муҳим янгиликларидан бири бу шаффофликни таъминлашга хизмат қилувчи нормаларни ўзида ифода этганидадир. Бунга мисол қилиб, фуқароларга Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг расмий веб-сайти орқали сайловчилар рўйхатидан ўзларига тегишли маълумотлар билан танишиш имконияти таъминланиши, Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг қарорлари унинг расмий веб-сайтида ўша куннинг ўзида эълон қилиниши лозимлиги, вилоят, туман, шаҳар сайлов комиссиялари расмий веб-сайтларида ўз таркиби, манзили ва комиссиянинг телефон рақамлари тўғрисидаги маълумотларни эълон қилиши, Ўзбекистон Республикаси Президенти сайлови, Ўзбекистон Республикаси Олий Мажлисига сайлов якунларига кўра Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг қарори Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг расмий веб-сайтида эълон қилиниши, сиёсий партияларнинг сайловда иштирок этишини молиялаштириш учун ажратиладиган давлат маблағларининг бир номзод ҳисобига тўғри келадиган миқдори ҳақидаги ахборот Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг расмий веб-сайтида эълон қилиниши, Сенат аъзоларини сайлаш бўйича Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг қўшма мажлисларни ўтказиш санаси, вақти ҳамда жойи кўрсатилган қарори унинг расмий веб-сайтида эълон қилиниши, сиёсий партиялар ўзининг сайловда иштирок этишини молиялаштириш тўғрисидаги ахборотни сайлов якунлари эълон қилинганидан кейин бир ой ичида ўз расмий веб-сайтларида ва босма нашрларида эълон қилиши кабиларни кўрсатиш мумкин.
Сайлов кодексида белгиланган мазкур нормалар амалиётда бажарилаётганлигини бевосита гувоҳи бўлишимиз мумкин. Фуқароларга Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг Интернетда www.elections.uz расмий веб-сайти орқали сайловчилар рўйхатидан ўзларига тегишли маълумотлар билан танишиш имконияти таъминланди, Марказий сайлов комиссиясининг қарорлари унинг расмий веб-сайтида ўша куннинг ўзида эълон қилинмоқда, шу кунгача 36 та қарор эълон қилинди, вилоят, туман, шаҳар сайлов комиссиялари расмий веб-сайтларида ўз таркиби, манзили ва комиссиянинг телефон рақамлари тўғрисидаги маълумотларни эълон қилишди.
Хулоса қилиб айтганда сайловларни шаффофлиги сайлов жараёнига, унинг тимсолида эса давлатга ишончни мустаҳкамлайди, демократик жараёнларни ривожлантиради, фуқаролик жамиятини кучайтиришга хизматга қилади.
